Tick tock!

As the Project Catalyst Fund12 voting nears its end, we wanted to seize this last opportunity to share our proposals with you, the Project Catalyst voter. Your vote is crucial in shaping the next wave of decentralized innovation on Cardano, and we hope to earn your support.

About MLabs

MLabs is an AI and blockchain consultancy committed to building cutting-edge solutions on Cardano. Thanks to Project Catalyst, we've been able to bring key projects like Plutarch, the Cardano Transaction Library, Lambda Buffers, and many more to life. Naturally, voters can find a comprehensive overview of our contributions on the LidoNation website, and our YouTube page is a great place to see what we have already delivered.

Our Fund12 Proposals

In Fund12, we are putting forth six proposals that provide exceptional value to the Cardano ecosystem.

Pisa-Fees: Decentralized Fee Trading Smart Contract

Pisa-fees introduce an innovative way to handle transaction fees by allowing token-pair exchanges, much like the proposed Babel fees system. This means users can bypass using ADA for transaction fees, enhancing flexibility and convenience, especially for DAOs and groups centered around non-ADA tokens. Our proposal aims to develop a proof of concept to demonstrate the potential of Pisa-fees in streamlining transactions and promoting wider adoption of Cardano. See our proposal here.

Efficient Contract Upgrades with the Yielding Transaction Pattern

The Yielding Tx Pattern is a groundbreaking design pattern that revolutionizes the development of efficient and upgradeable dApps. Poor upgradability is a common cause of developer frustration, resulting in cumbersome updates and eventually downgraded UX. Our proposal aims to build the ytxp-lib and ytxp-sdk, providing developers with powerful tools to implement this innovative pattern easily. By enhancing the flexibility and scalability of dApps on Cardano, YTxP will empower builders to create more advanced and adaptable applications.

The details are in our proposal, so why not check them out?

TripHut + MLabs: Mainnet launch!

Did you know that Travel & Tourism represents 10.3% of global GDP, yet only 18.9% of the world traveled abroad in 2019? This highlights how the transformative act of travel remains out of reach for many. TripHut is a revolutionary dApp travel club aimed at fixing this. Managed entirely by smart contracts, TripHut focuses on making travel affordable and sustainable while placing eco-friendly and ethical values at the forefront

KWARX is a Cardano-based platform dedicated to making renewable energy assets accessible to everyone. This proposal aims to refactor and update the existing platform towards an MVP, enabling easier and more transparent support of green energy. By democratizing access to renewable energy projects, KWARX empowers individuals to contribute to a sustainable future. To learn more and support the KWARX project be sure to read our proposal.

UNBOX: Launching Cardano’s First Native Programmable Token

The Unbox proposal aims to bring the groundbreaking Unbox Infinity Protocol for programmable tokens to the Cardano mainnet as an MVP. This innovative protocol will enable developers to create dynamic and versatile tokens with programmable features, opening up new possibilities for decentralized applications. Check out the proposal here.

Ikigai + MLABS - Hydra-Auction Update - Fully-backed Bids

Building on the success of our Fund10 grant, which developed the innovative Hydra auction protocol, this proposal is set to revolutionize the UX by incorporating Hydra’s latest incremental commit/decommit features. This will allow for dynamic auction strategies and fully backed bids. This reduces friction, allowing for real-time adjustments, enhanced control of bidding, and greater peace of mind.
